ABOUT
WHO WE ARE
The US-China Transpacific Foundation (UCTPF) was established in 2015 to forge strong bi-lateral ties between the two nations with the belief that a positive relationship between the world’s two most influential economies is essential for the well-being of the global economy.
The US-China Transpacific Foundation is a non-profit public organization and is classified by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization with MECEA status to allow the Foundation to carry out programs that comply with the requirements of Section 108A of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961 [Public Law 87-256] and implement regulations set forth in 22 CFR Part 64.
MISSION
The Foundation strives to promote the mutual interests of both the United States and China through political, cultural and educational exchanges as well as economic and trade forums designed to promote productive partnerships between businesses from the two nations. In essence, the aim of the Foundation is to raise public and corporate awareness of the importance of the US-China relationship, increase communication across many sectors, and foster closer relationships between the US and China. (MECEA status means that the Foundation has been reviewed and approved by relevant departments of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Department of the United States).
